An evening with Josephine Quinn, author of How The World Made The West

Join us for an informative and interesting evening with Oxford University Professor of Ancient History, Josephine Quinn as she discusses her new book, How the World Made the West. 

The new work by the acclaimed historian and scholar, moves from the Bronze Age to the Age of Exploration, to reveal a new narrative which traces the millennia of global encounters and exchange that built what is now called the West, as societies met, tangled and sometimes grew apart.

This event is for those with an interest in ancient history and civilisations as well as the development of modern societies and our current understanding of the past. 

The evening will include an in-conversation style interview, a Q&A section and book signing.
